Sometimes you take the days when you can get them! Generally, after a week like I just had the ideal thing to do would be sleep for two days straight - but that’s not really possible with kids anyway - so when Matt and Jeanine asked if we wanted to join them to see the Berks Jazz Fest sponsored Bella Fleck concert at the Sovereign Performing Arts Center we agreed - happily!
It was a great night actually, and for a few moments I forgot how exhausted I was. We met up at Wine Down for drinks and dinner and then went into town for FRONT ROW SEATS! It was as close to rock star status as I’ve ever had! The music was great (who knew the harmonica was such a great instrument?!?) and the company was better. And to top it all off, I was in bed, asleep, by 11:15. Not too shabby eh?
